I have a job interview coming up. A difficult question to answer for me will be, “why did you leave your last job?”. I left because I worked in a very small office with two other people. One of them was very violent, very malicious, very evil and was constantly sabotaging work, hiding files, she blew up at the slightest little thing, would constantly and very loudly humiliate me in public, would thro things at me, would constantly ridicule and put me down, all in all, it was a very violent and hostile environment. She also had a “personal” relationship with the boss and the other person in the office wouldn’t speak up as my witness. I never confronted her because when I tried to, the first few times, she got worse, very,extremely loud, very animated and aggressive and began crying loudly saying I had disrespected her, so she turned herself into the victim. After that, I thought I could ride it out and get used to it, but it began affecting my health. I began throwing up, unvoluntarily, every morning just before going to work, out of the anxiety of being under this person’s evil. I began withdrawing from my family, just sick of all people and just wanted to be alone. The day I snapped at my mom and insulted her was the day I decided to quit. What can I tell the interviewer when they ask me, “Why did you leave your last job?”. Telling the truth is unacceptable and a no-no in employment interviews (speaking negatively of your last employer), but telling a lie is unethical. What can I tell the interviewer? Please only answer if you really think you know. Thank you.

An experience here that occurred not too long ago – -
The reason was because you did not get along with your coworkers, administration, boss (whatever it may be) and it was time for a change. There had been disputes and arguments that held you back from working to your full potential. – This is what I would say, around the lines of. I would think you do not need to go into specifics because that is your personal thing and also a choice (and one should respect that).

I went through this situation cause I used to work there! Then I quit after one day tho, =/ the store that I worked at was kinda racist..but that doesn’t put down all of those stores!
I remember being in the group interview however this was proly 3 or 4 yrs ago,….neway they just ask what customer service means to you, and what you would do in certain situations. So just think about why customer service is important. Remember that the customer always comes first, and that if you were hired you would do what ever it takes to satisfy the customer, that means even when you are having a bad you push it aside. I said some stuff like that. Also, there was this guy there who was trying WAY too hard to be professional, so he was talking ” as a matter of factly” and he was using big words. This caused him the job and he did not get hired. Employers will notice if you are giving pageant answers.
And before you have an interview always remember to play questions in your head that you know the employer may ask you, this prevents brainfreeze in the middle of an interview, which is terrifying! Ex: What is your biggest weakness? Tell me of a time when you had to deal with a customer who was angry, or they will give you the option to talk about a time in school if you have not had a job. Why should we hire you? Why are you a better candidate than the others we are interviewing?

i am hardworking and dedicated when it comes to work
i am a great team player but also can work as an indvidual. i prioritise my workload to meet specific deadlines.
what are my weaknesses:
i see myself as a bit of a perfectionist i like to do all my work to the best of my abilty – sometimes this can be seen as a weakness but also as a strength
where do you see yourself in 5 years time:
