What is the Second Interview like at Best Buy?

Question by Steve B: What is the Second Interview like at Best Buy?
I got called by Best Buy and had an interview over the phone. They told me come into the store tomorrow for a second interview. What are the exact questions asked during the second interview? What is the overall interview like? How should I prepare? HELP! I really need a JOB!

Best answer:

Answer by Will
Well it’s how you act in the second interview that counts, one question you’ll never ask: How much do you pay me per hour? Act mature, respond questions with legitimate answers and show the manager that you want that job.

You’ll get the job, relax

Well, (not to be rude) but why DO you want to work @ Best Buy?

You should kind of have an idea. Is it just a job? Obviously, you don’t want to say “its just a job” to the interviewer if that is all it is to you – but you should at least have the true answer in your head. Just so you’re straight with it.

Hopefully, you want to work @ Best Buy because you love cutting edge technology, computers, cameras, and HD home setups, and BB has so many areas from microwaves, to car stereos, to get involved in.

You also especially love helping people find the right solutions for their technology needs. As a matter of fact, all your family and friends come to you to ask your advice on what the best phone is for them, or to help set up their camera on their PC.

So, you like the “stuff”, and you like to help people with the “stuff”.

That would be my answer. Unless, of course, it was just a job.

Also, its OK to be a little nervous. Remember to look decent, have fresh breath, maybe a little (little) gel deodorant on the palms of your hands so they don’t feel clammy when you shake hands, don’t be late, and you should do fine.

Good luck!

You should dress smart, wear a suit with a shirt and tie if you have one.

Be aware of your body language, lean forward slightly so you appear interested in what the person has to say, maintain eye contact with whoever you are speaking too, smile, dont fold your arms.

Think about your strengths and your weaknessess, give examples of your strengths and talk about ways you have thought of to improve your weaknessess.

Think of times in your past where you have had to work as part of a team and times you have had to work by yourself.

How long should I wait after doing an at-home dye job to re-dye??

Question by heather m: How long should I wait after doing an at-home dye job to re-dye??
I have dark brown hair (dyed) and last night I tried to lighten it a few shades with at-home color. It didn’t do ANYTHING! How long do I need to wait before I can try again? I’m not trying to go blonde or anything, just a little lighter.
It’s been a while since it was last dyed (before last night) and I have really healthy hair

I would wait ATLEAST 2 weeks – you can really damage your hair by dying it too much in a short period of time.
