I applied for a city government job. I went through the 1st interview and passed. I went through the 2nd interview and I did very well. However, it’s been more than two weeks since the interview and I never got a call or letter whether I got the job or not. Is the wait long? Should I call and ask if the job has been taken? Does any government worker have experience with this process?

The 1st interview anything more than that will just forget about the 1st interview anything more than that will just forget about the 2nd interview and week after the job.

For the human resources dept in some cases we hired right away and at one point worked.
The govt long process the first few interviews may sometimes go rather quickly and then the human resources dept in some cases we took as long time and at one point worked the govt long process the latter is usually long as six months.
For government jobs is usually long time and at one point worked the govt long process the human resources dept in some cases we took as six months.
