Question by blaze209: How long does it take for a background check to come back after a job interview?
Im a college student, I recently had a interview with Ross stores. She liked me and offered me a conditional job offer and asked if i would accept. I said yes. She said shes going to submit the background check then call me after she has gotten it back. I had the interview about 7 days ago. How long does it take? before this i worked at KOHLS and i remember it took them 2 weeks for them to call me back.

It depends how quick they are to submit the background checks. They generally do not take that long.

One hour. You can do it yourself for free at http://www.CRIMINALSEARCHES.com (not my website). The only reason for the delay is that they are still taking applications and they don’t rush to put one thru (altho they should if the employee looks outstanding)..

yeah, i remember that one, it took like 12 days for them to call me back then worked there for two days and realized
