Question by yoyogirl: What type of interview questions do you think I’ll be asked?
I applied to be a World Vision Charity Representative and I was wondering what questions they would ask besides the obvious ones like what are your strengths/weaknesses, why should we hire you, what you know about the organization, descreibe yourself in 3 words, etc. etc.
This is my first interview so I’m pretty nervous!!

I’m not sure what other questions they’ll ask you, but make sure you do your research and have a set of questions to ask them! Remember this isn’t just about them getting to know you, but your also interviewing them!

1.) Tell me about yourself?
Explain a little bit about who you are: where you are from, how long you’ve been here, why you would be a good fit for this job (education, etc) and any pertinent interests you may have.
2.) What is your greatest strength/greatest weakness?
Be sure this is relevant to the job. Are you a good motivator? Organizer? Hard worker? Self-starter? Very outgoing? What? Why should they hire you?
3.) Describe a stressful situation and how you handled it?
Let them know who they are hiring. Tell how you handled something well. Make sure it is fairly recent.

Question by Jamie J: If I were asked to introduce myself in a job interview, how long should it last?
I’m attending a final round interview next Monday. But I’m still uncertain about how much time should I spend if I were asked the question “Tell me something about yourself.” I was planning to talk about my academic background, my strength, my interest in the position they offer, my part time job experiences, etc. Will that be too much? How should I trim my answer to finish this question within one minute? Is that a rule for questions like this?
And how long should the answer to each question last?
Thank you very much for your attention, please help me.

tell them your education where you went “I have a bachelors degree in ——” tell them your common interests- nothing weird tho.
and try to involve your personal strengths and goals into the job position you’re trying to get…
don’t go off on a life story tho.

Question by billyboy8031992@ymail.com: What kind of questions will be asked at a US Navy Officer Interview?
I have an Officer Interview this Saturday, and I’d like a heads up if possible about what will be asked. This is the interview to receive the NROTC scholarship.

- Why do you want to be a Naval Officer? If it’s to fly, be a SEAL, submariner etc, expect follow-ups in those career fields.
- What do you think about current Navy operations in support of OEF/OIF?
- What do you know about the Navy’s plans to move to Brown/Green water operations?
-What do you know about Navy history? It would be very impressive to give the dates etc of the establishment of the USN.
- What do you think about the current world situation? This would mean the GWOT, China, N Korea etc etc. You don’t have to give an answer you think they want to hear, but be prepared for follow up questions.
If you come prepared for these you’ll do fine.
