Question by luckistrike: THYROID MED. – I’ve been taking 200 mcgs of synthroid for about 2 yrs. Recently, My lab results showed my thy
thyroid level to be at .08 (instead of somewhere around 5.50). Question is, instead of increasing the 200 mcgs. of synthroid, I was told to take half the tablet – less instead of more. I still don’t understand the reasoning….Can a dr. or pharmacist explain this to me? Thank you!

This is nothing to fool around with. I hope the Doctor you have been seeing is a Endocrinologist. If not find one. My Mom has been suffering with hers. Once her symptoms increased on the meds. her primary physician referred her to see a specialist. (Endocrinologist). Your Pharmacist should be able to explain to you. But, you really should ask your Doctor to explain to you. That’s what your paying him for. Good Luck.

Job Interview how do I properly turn down a interview after it’s been scheduled.?

Question by JY: Job Interview how do I properly turn down a interview after it’s been scheduled.?
Hi! I am in need of a quick /reasonable answer to my question. I was offered a job interview in the last minute (was e-mailed to a scheduled interview yesterday and the interview is tomorrow, and I didn’t even remember which job was it) in which I have aggreed to attend. to make long story short, after looking at the job posting/careful consideration, I realized that this job is not something I would like to do, but, since I’ve already aggreed to a job interview. Can I still turn it down before tomorrow by e-mail( no contact number was given)? If so, How can I go about doing it. becuase I don’t want to waste the interviewer’t time or mine if I know the job is not right for me.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Just write short e-mail thanking them for the opportunity to interview but you have accepted another position. (even though you haven’t)

Anyone have examples of questions you’ve been asked in interviews, specifically scholarship interviews?

Question by psawyer: Anyone have examples of questions you’ve been asked in interviews, specifically scholarship interviews?
I’m interviewing for an important scholarship this weekend and I’ve been reviewing some questions with my teachers, my family, etc. but I was hoping some people with experience in these kind of interviews might give me some examples. Also some advice on the right kind of responses to the questions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

why should i give you the scholarship and not the student that came before you that escaped war in Darfur and is a refugee in the USA without any family? I was asked that…I said to give it to him out of respect and honor. Life is about dedicating your life to help others and he dedicated many years to have freedom for his country and now I want him to feel free as well.

I ended up getting the scholarship and the refugee student was actually just made up by my interviewing team.
