Barnes and Noble called me this morning and asked me to come into a group interview at 3:30. It’s my first job interview ever, so I’m kind of freaking out ha.
Which one of these would be the best to say?
I can be too anal retentive.
I tend to pay more attention the details before looking at the big picture.
I feel stressed when I’m required to make a confident, independent decision.
They’re all true, but I think the last one is more of a weakness than the others. But it also sounds the worst haha.
also, since they called me on such a short notice I didn’t have time to plan an outfit. Do you think a dressy pink shirt and dark grey skinny jeans would look okay, or should I drive to Target really fast and find something nicer?

Lot’s of employers do not ask this question anymore. However, if you would like to know how to answer this, feel free to say something like…..Chocolate or something like….A favorite Television show. Do not say anything that is related to the position.

I’m mentally preparing for a job interview I have tonight. I know they’ll ask what my biggest weakness is since I’ve been asked that during ever previous job interview I’ve had, but I don’t think I’ve given good answers in the past.
I know you don’t want to list a “weakness” that is actually a strength, or a weakness that is actually really detrimental to the job you’re applying for.
Well, what about poor time management? That actually really is my biggest weakness. Could I answer that? It’s something that I’ve improved on a lot though since starting college, and I assume I’ll keep improving.
I’m planning on saying something like: “I think my biggest weakness would have to be poor time management. Starting college, it used to take me a very long time to complete assignments, to the point where I did not have time to much else except studying. However, I’ve improved a lot in that respect. That’s why I believe I have time now for a part-time job despite my full-time student status.”
