Good reason for leaving a job?

Question by chicka20: Good reason for leaving a job?
When asked why I left my last job is this a good response?

I do not agree with the companies business ethics and procedures . What do you think. What would be a good response. The company is awful. I have a boss who does not talk to me and they do not pay their bills on time, which makes my job difficult. And of course nothing is their fault. I have 3 people telling me to do the same thing different.

I just need out and need a professional way of saying it.

Thanks

Is this a good job ? answer asap please?

Question by lukita22: Is this a good job ? answer asap please?
I just went to a job interview at a clothing store. First of all, pay is 10/hour and the job is in Manhattan. The responsibilities include opening and closing the store, ringing up sales, customer service, replenish merchandise, cleaning up the store… well, basically, the manager told me I would be in charge of everything in the store from blogging to changing light bulbs (nobody else but one person would be in the store each day). I kind of liked the job, but I fear it might be a little bit too much responsibility. What do you think? I don’t mind moping or getting rid of the garbage, but my mother says it’s not such a good job. What do you guys think? Please answer ASAP since I’ll need to accept or decline this job offer by tomorrow nite.
Thanks!

ps. I forgot to say that I am still in college and need some free time to study since I will b taking extra credits in the summer.

In a job interview, what is a good answer for “what is your greatest weakness” ?

Question by cbmp06: In a job interview, what is a good answer for “what is your greatest weakness” ?
I hate this question! I feel like its a trap. I sometimes say that mine is the fact that when I work on a project of my own, I dont like other people messing around in it, that its “my baby”. But Im afraid this makes me seem bossy, or like a loner. Im neither. Probably my greatest weakness is math, honestly. Im so bad with numbers. Can I use this? (provided the job Im interviewing for doesn’t require strong mathematical skills!)

Ah! Don’t use those answers!

Your greatest weakness is that you are a perfectionist/overachiever and sometimes work so hard to get the best result that you find yourself working long hours.

What is a GOOD weakness to have when interviewing for a job?

Question by jatay: What is a GOOD weakness to have when interviewing for a job?
You know, in almost every interview they ask:

What is your biggest weakness? Or What are your weaknesses?

What are some examples of a weakness that you can turn around into something positive?

Best answer:

Answer by LD
you want to have a weakness that can be overcome. you don’t want to sit there like butt kisser and say something like “i feel like i care too much about my job” or ” i take on too much responsibility” it sounds so obvious to do that.

You want to give a legitimate weakness but one that can be overcome. i tell prospective employers that not knowing their computer programs in always a weakness compare to the employees they have now but that i think one of my strengths is my background in different programs and how quickly i pick them up.
