My name is Laura.
Why did you select this college/ university?
I fell in love with it when I visited. I like the area, I like the campus. The university is one of the top places in the country for my course and it’s not a bad travel time to and from home.
Describe your professor and the student/teacher ratio?
I have several professors. I can’t possibly describe them all. Lectures are given to anything ranging from 50-200 students. Seminars have 15 or less students.
Is it hard to get into core classes at your college?
Core classes are compulsory for the individual’s course, so you’re automatically put on to them.
What was it like to live on campus?
I love it. It’s a great community spirit, the amenities are good and it’s really handy for lectures.
Do you have to take out loans to attend this university?
Yes.
Are there scholarships available to play for tuition?
No.
What is the most difficult thing about attending college?
Leaving home, having to cook and clean for myself. Having to make new friends (difficult but also fun!).
Is it easy to find a job in you field?
Ask me again when I’ve finished my degree.
What qualifications did you need to do your job?
I don’t have a job. I needed A levels for my course.
