The second interview is usually actually your first in-store interview with an assistant manager. We consider the online applcation to be your first interview.
If it’s your second in-store interview, it should be with the General Manager of the store. They will ask you questions about where you see yourself in the future, your availability, and if you’d turn in a friend you saw stealing. Then, either they will tell you they still have more interviews to do for the position (sometimes the truth, sometimes a gentle let-down), that they don’t feel your are a good fit for Best Buy, or the GM will job offer you on the spot and determine your hourly pay. Then, you sign papers about a background check and find out where to go for your drug test.

If I get a phone call for a second interview and the person tells you about the job and how much it pays and to bring in a void check to speed up the process if all goes well what does that mean.

Generally a second interview means your hired unless it’s a very high end job. Your asked to bring a blank check so they can set up your automatic pay. Just make sure you void the check.

I went to my interview at longhorn steakhouse…an he said he’d probably call me back for a second interview….its for a servers assistant….
They haven’t opened yet..since its a new restaurant in my town…an they’ll be doing interviews/job fair till Sunday…
Idk what that means….I don’t think I got it…..

Question by VGP: How to push a job offer from a second company after getting your first offer?
I had interviewed with my first choice company about a month ago. My gut feeling is that I will get it. But during the wait, I got a chance to interview with another small company and they gave me the offer within a week. I have asked for 4 days time to get back with my decision.The second company is good but I have to somehow get an official offer from my first choice company to decide judiciously. Do I tell about this offer to the 1st company and expedite their decision? Who do I contact, my prospective manager or the HR manager? I do not want to turn them off by coming off as a big shot with other offers in hand. However a months’ time is long and they promised to get back last week.
Please respond ASAP of you have any thoughts on this.

I got called by Best Buy and had an interview over the phone. They told me come into the store tomorrow for a second interview. What are the exact questions asked during the second interview? What is the overall interview like? How should I prepare? HELP! I really need a JOB!

Well it’s how you act in the second interview that counts, one question you’ll never ask: How much do you pay me per hour? Act mature, respond questions with legitimate answers and show the manager that you want that job.

i applied for a job at a mcdonalds. I went for the interview but didn’t get a call back. Today, i got a call back from the lady who interviewed me saying i have another inteview with her boss whose at another mcdonalds. she said “come in for a second interview with my boss at this and this mcdonalds”
what could this mean? how should i be prepared? whats going to happen?

It sounds like you didn’t get the job at the first store, but they have an opening at another store nearby. The interview will probably be the same as the first one, so don’t panic.
