Question by Calieas: How long after you had your interview for the Navy did it take for your start date?
Hi
My boyfriend is going into the Navy but hasn’t had his start date yet.
They said it would be about 12months from his medical which was about 6 months ago which means he would probably go in March.
I was wondering how long it took for people to get their date and if you have ever had a boyfriend or girlfriend that has gone did you stay together?

hey my husbands in the navy right now. im only 20. but ya hes a corpsman so he trains differently than ur bf will if hes going to be on a ship
but my bf left for training about 8 months after he signed up
and hewas gone for about a year doign training and all that
we stayed together
it does however take a really strong girl to handle it. at times i didnt know if i could take it. him not being able to call and all that
but if u guys make it through that kinda stuff deployments wont be as hard. you will be sorta used to him being in and out. if u like him enough ride it through. he will appriciate you very much if u staywith him and stay faithful
my husband told me that like 8 outa 10 gfs or wives cheat on them while their gone…….odds are insane

I’m a full-time college student looking for a job. I had an interview at the local Halloween store. They seemed really intent on hiring me. But I have a pretty strong fear of clowns and the like. I only applied because I promised a family member I would (he’s a major horror/gore fan). I can’t even watch Wizard of Oz or Little Frankenstein because they’re too clown-like and make my stomach crawl. I’m waiting to hear back on other jobs but this one wants to hire me, and I feel like a jerk not taking it because I have this fear, but I don’t know what to do about it. It really bugs me. The idea of working there really bugs me. Is it wrong not to take the job because of the fear of clowns?

I am 15 and I have a scholarship interview >>one of the the questions i expect is “what would you bring to (school’s name)?”. I’m trying to think of something suitable.
I am planning on saying “I think what I’d bring to (school’s name) is the diversity of the range of my interests” — and then expanding further on it about how i don’t fit into any stereotypes, etc etc, and how i can adapt to both using logical thinking and reflective thinking.
my question is> does what i said above (diversity etc etc–basically, the first opening sentence) make much sense?–like does it not make sense? Does it sound depthless, and not exactly the ‘ideal’ answer??
I need help *quickkkly*, cause it’s pretty late here, and i have to go to bed. Thank you so much in advance.

I applied for a 1 year scholarship to USA, I passed two tests and now I have some papers about myself, and after I submit those there’s this interview which will decide whether I’ll go or not.
In most cases I’ll get the scholarship. But I can’t decide if I should go for it or not. I lived in Kuwait my whole life, I’m palestinian with a jordanian citizenship and know nothing about life there. I’m muslim BTW. I don’t if I do well there all by myself, though the scholarship covers everything not just School expenses. I don’t know if I will be able to leave my family and friends and go to a completely new environment, though more developed.
Now you know enough about me to answer my question; Do you think I will like going there? In other words shall I take this scholarship to USA?

That depends on the management of THAT location and how well your interview went. If they have no interest in hiring you, they will not EVER call you back. There is no policy that EVERYONE MUST be called back within a certain amount of days. They are a NATIONAL retailer and how quickly someone gets a call back will depend on THAT store’s management.

me and family and my younger brothers friend are going on holiday in 4 weeks time his friend hasnt got a passport yet his passport interview is next week not sure what day will he get it in time
and can someone also tell me why do you have to now take your passport into the holiday place when collecting your holiday tickets

It depends. I recieved mine in just a few weeks. But I hear it can takes months for some. Pay a little extra for the shipping of them returned to you. And get a tracking number for it!
