Do they want to know your strengths, your personal life, your goals? Should the answer be brief?

They don’t want your life history or personal details (many of which they can’t ask about legally, but you might be tempted to offer them inadvertently when describing yourself). What they want is a concise description of who you think you are and what your best traits are. Hopefully, those traits (honest, hard working, problem solver, team player) fit the company’s culture or the type of position you’re applying for.

Yes, I did. As I recall, they already had most of the information about me that they wanted on the form I mailed in. In the interview, they just wanted to meet me and get a feel for my personality and interests. This may not be exactly how it goes for you, and it may depend on what type of scholarship you apply for. Good luck!
I disagree with Physics_Student about telling the interviewer you don’t have any questions if that is not the case. I told my interviewer that I didn’t have any questions, and I still got the scholarship. Don’t worry too much about preparing. You can’t prepare for some questions, and if you try to think through too much in advance you will find yourself stressing out and overthinking these things. It’s probably much better to have a genuine honest response to the question the first time you hear it.

I have a second interview today and there may be a possibility they could offer a job. But I am also waiting for a response from another company who should be letting me know at the end of the week. the other job is quite good as well. With the one today, if they offer the job how long should i keep them waiting for a response. they know about the other interview already and that is something i am considering as well.

I don’t think that there is a easy answer for this one…it depends on the level of job you are taking and the needs of the company that is offering the job.
The way that I would do it, though, if they offer the job is ask them when they expect you to start. It’s possible that you really don’t have an issue after all—either you have enough time to go to the other interview or can negotiate it. If they want you to start immediately, you might have to make a decision immediately, otherwise they might withdraw the job offer and call the next guy on the list.

I went to one
They asked about what i did after school. What my favorite classes were. What my least favorite classes were. About the presidential election. We talked about biology (probably wouldnt apply to you). What clubs and activties I would like to participate in. normal stuff. dont sweat it, they are going to bite you.
