Would it be proper to say that one of your weaknesses is Interviewing? I have minimal experience in interviewing because I have been stable at my current job for many years.

Please help me with this one. I don’t know how to answer it.

Thank you in advance for your answers!!

Change the question around by showing how you overcame a previous weakness. For example, “In the past I had difficulty organizing my time effectively. But after I took a seminar on organizational skills I applied those skills to my work, and I have been considered to be one of the most organized people since then.”

Well using that video is a bad example, since right after they show him it says “8 out 10 fathers never marry the girl” or whatever, so I give him props for doing the right thing and sticking with his gf and helping the kid as much as he can. You just sound bitter and judgemental. Hes only dumb for getting a girl prego so young in life, but at least hes doing the right thing.

How is sending a thank you note after the interview done ? Who does this, is it common?

Question by Kim_Andie: How is sending a thank you note after the interview done ? Who does this, is it common?
Is it normal, or is it weird, I have yet to meet anyone who has ACTUALLY done this for bar tending and / or Wait staff positions, even though it seems bothersome to prospective employers, retro fashioned a bit pushy and strange. If it is done, What should it say? Is there a template? Most importantly, How long after the interview should it be sent after, how about two months later, is that too long?
Is it actually sent through the mail or do you just call them up or hand deliver it ?

Best answer:

Answer by mitch9262002
I don’t think I have ever heard it done for a waitress or bar tender unless you are interviewing for manager. I have done it for every professional position I have ever held. If you and two other candidates are neck and neck and you send one, this may push you over and get you the job. Yes there are templates, online and in any secretarial skills book.

Need poem experts to analyze this SHORT poem. 10 points for best answer!!!!?

Question by Butters: Need poem experts to analyze this SHORT poem. 10 points for best answer!!!!?
The title of this poem is Hunted. It’s by French poet Paul Eluard. If it helps to know, he was a Surrealist poet whose major life events included tuberculosis, a marital crisis, getting into WWI and the French Revolution, and a premature death of his 2nd wife.

Poem:
A few grains of dust more or less
On ancient shoulders
Locks of weakness on weary foreheads
This theatre of honey and faded roses
Where incalculable flies
Reply to the black signs that misery makes to them
Despairing girders of a bridge
Thrown across space
Thrown across every street and every house
Heavy wandering madnesses
That we shall end by knowing by heart
Mechanical appetites and uncontrolled dances
That lead to the regret of hatred

Nostalgia of justice

Ok so I would just like to know what’s going on… Also, why do you think the poem is called Hunted?

Thanks very much. Again, 10 points for best answer.

What a truly beautiful poem… I’ll give you my interpretation, I hope I help.
Overall I think it’s about an after effect of some type of war, maybe a real war or a physical one. Perhaps a mental one…

A few grains of dust more or less
On ancient shoulders
Locks of weakness on weary foreheads-I believe here he’s talking about the coming back from it, that sort of left over grit and ruble from a tough battle

This theatre of honey and faded roses
Where incalculable flies
Reply to the black signs that misery makes to them- Flies could suggest the things, thoughts or people who died, a significant number of them, black is dark, perhaps they died for replying or an order that they were given.

Despairing girders of a bridge
thrown across space
thrown across every street and every house-a girder is that steel beam used for building bridges, if they are in despair..maybe to leave across space and everywhere in between

Heavy wandering madnesses
That we shall end by knowing by heart
Mechanical appetites and uncontrolled dances
That lead to the regret of hatred- I think hear is where the solemn victory is, going away from the madness coming to an end, to have the apetite and joy filled dance of coming home, “That lead to the regret of hatred” after war it’s a terrible thing to kill someone, something, you can find regret in that

Nostalgia of justice-nostalgia is the feeling of home or something of the past the past wanting of justice, remembering that, remembering how you helped bring to that… That’s what I see in this poem but I’m sure everyone is different. It can be applied many ways, It’s very lovely. Did you know him and Dali were close? Finally, I think it’s called Hunted because appropriately in war you hunt out things you seek, and in turn you’re hunted… go more in depth with that.

What do people think of this? Pharmacist conscience bill passes Idaho House Committee?

Question by new name: What do people think of this? Pharmacist conscience bill passes Idaho House Committee?
Pharmacist conscience bill passes House Committee

http://www.idahostatesman.com/1306/story/702702.html

BOISE, Idaho — A House committee on Wednesday approved a bill to give pharmacists the ability to refuse to dispense birth control and other medications.

The so-called conscience protections are for pharmacists who have moral, ethical or religious objections to dispensing certain medications. Idaho law already gives hospitals and doctors authority not to fill prescriptions.

The bill passed on a voice vote and moves to the full House, where it stands a good chance of passage.

Idaho Pharmacy Board Executive Director Mark Johnston told the House State Affairs Committee on Wednesday that pharmacists already can deny drugs because there is no state law requiring them to fill prescriptions.

Johnston said the Pharmacy Board will remain neutral on the issue because it views the bill as a fight between anti-abortion and abortion-rights groups.

Rep. Erik Simpson, R-Idaho Falls, said the bill would protect pharmacists from being fired if they refuse to dispense a medication.

Representatives for several groups spoke in favor of the bill, citing the need for workplace religious freedom.

“Most of the people that would be affected by this, from a pro-life perspective, have a deep conviction,” said Jason Herring, a lobbyist for Right to Life of Idaho.

The bill’s opponents argue that it puts pharmacists’ rights above patient’s rights.

Idaho Women’s Network lobbyist Taryn Magrini said the bill could cause problems for patients in rural towns with only one pharmacy. She said some drugs, such as emergency contraceptives, must be taken within a certain time and it could be difficult to have to drive to multiple towns to find someone willing to dispense the drug.

Rep. Phylis King, D-Boise, said pharmacists shouldn’t be able to override a treatment decision made by a doctor. King has worked as an emergency medical technician.

“As a health care professional it’s not my job to judge a patient,” King said. “If you don’t believe in it, you get out of the business.”

The conscience clause movement grew across the country following the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion. Some states, including Idaho, enacted laws to allow physicians and hospitals to refuse to perform abortions.

According to the National Conference of State Legislators, four states – Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi and South Dakota – have conscience laws that explicitly allow pharmacists to refuse to dispense the morning-after pill for moral reasons. Four other states have broad refusal laws that do not specifically mention pharmacists but could possibly be applied.

People will just find a pharmacist who will dispense it. No big deal really.
