Question by neollakent: Should I call to inquire about a job application when I was told to wait by the office I submitted my resume t
I submitted a resume to an office which was recommended to me by a colleague who was a former assistant in that office. I was not sure if they were hiring but I still gave it a shot anyway. When I called to follow-up, they said that they will call me. It’s been 4 days and I haven’t received a call yet. Should I call them again or should I wait and for how long. I did not apply for any other jobs because I wanted this and I don’t want to get confused later on especially if I had to choose among several call-backs as I don’t want to go hopping from one job to another . This happened to me before, I accepted a job and then a week after another office called me and gave me a better offer.

Your strengths are the positive ways you can describe yourself in a professional way. Here are some examples -
Punctual, excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasker, etc.
When they ask about your weaknesses, tell the interviewer that you don’t have any. This is a trick question.

Question by Bethenia: When I was 14 my mom was told I would be unable to ever keep a job. Why?
Now I am 25 and I have had 23 (I think) jobs. I have left for various reasons; some good, some not. What’s wrong with me? I was thinking I just haven’t found what I want to do, but 23 is way too excessive. My mom just told me 2 years ago that my school counselor had told her this while I was in high school before I ever had a job but she doesn’t remember what else she said, such as why.
I know you can’t diagnose me or say exactly what my problem is, but if you know or any general idea or know other people with this problem, it would be helpful to let me know.
No it is not “alcohol syndrome baby” or whatever. It has nothing to do with alcohol or drugs or gambling or any kind of bad habits/addictions. retard…
It is not a self fulfilled prophecy. If I was told earlier, maybe it would be true. But she just told me this 2 years ago. And until then I’d already had maybe 18 jobs.
Btw, I started working at age 15. So it’s been 10 years.

At least you’ll never been one of those sad people who do the same job every single day for years and years.
